Sunflower Competition

Before the summer break, the Carriers Inn staff kindly came into school to plant sunflowers and decorate pots with all the children. The pots were taken back to the pub and carefully tended to. The idea was that the chidlren visit to check on the progress of their plant because a prize will be awarded to the child whose sunflower grew the tallest. I know lots of children have visited and Evie and Grace even drew pictures of themselves with their sunflowers. This week they have announced the winner- Teddy. Congratulations!

We would like to thank the Carriers Inn for involving us in this project, we are always delighted to work with the community and will be looking forward to some more exciting competitions in the future.
