Money Raised This Year!
Thank you to all our children and their families for continuing to support our chosen charities this year.
Together we raised £49.31 selling Gingerbread Socks in support of the Downs Syndrome Society. We also raised £249.50 for Sport Relief by completing a mile around the village – a long way for some of our younger pupils!
We will have to think of some different ways of raising money over the coming year, starting with our MacMillan Coffee Morning. It is unlikely that we will be able to hold our usual coffee morning as we have done traditionally for the past 9 years, but we will come up with an alternative. If anyone has any ideas please let us know. Recently we were reminded that over this period we have raised an incredible £2,061 for this worthwhile cause.
For such a small school we certainly show how much we care by supporting these and other charities such as the local foodbank, Save the Children, and Children in Need. Thank you so much for your generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference.
